My name is Zoe, I am an Elementary Education major here at UVIC. This is my last year here and I am also working towards getting my tech certificate!

It is funny how opposing my teaching philosophies are. On one hand, I believe that using tech in the classroom everyday will help students, and I believe teacher’s should constantly be keeping up with new technologies and medias. On the other hand, I believe students need to be connected with nature and the land, so they can learn to love it and want to protect it. I do believe there is room for balance for both these ideas!

In my spare time, I love to be outdoors as much as possible. I specifically love to go hiking, play tennis, go swimming at the lake, and anything you ask me to do outdoors I will likely say yes! I also love to sit at home and watch movies and read a good book. Right now, I have been focusing on rewatching Gilmore Girls for the 100th time, and I have been reading thriller books.
